Well, I may have missed Coastal Assault but the Black Templars rolled to 3d place using their Pinewood Derby car "Templar Express". Now, when my son and I were picking out the look of his car on scouting.org, if I had realized that he was going to want a "Black Templar race car", I would have cut it as a Rhino, glued on some of my spare BT vehicle bits and had fun.
Straight up, this is NOT a 40k post, this is a brag post..

Found this following a link from 40k Forums. It's a couple of days old, but it looks like a legit leak or someone spent way too much time playing with 129 pages of rules and 36 pages of codex updates (missing Black Templar, Sisters of Battle and Necrons).
It reads like a test copy, so if it is a hoax, it is a decent one. It is also in line with some of the 6th Ed rumors I've been reading for the last several months. ROLL TIDE! Muhahaha.
Oh wait, this is a blog about Black Templars & 40k. <clears throat> So you see, this is why I've never been enamoured with the "Black Tide" lists, a.k.a. Templorks and the Emperor's Own Korny Cultist Wannabees. If I'm going to have anything to do with such, it obviously must be a Crimson Tide. ROLL TIDE. Also, my son's Cub Scout Pack, after having put out the info for the Derby Cars being on the 4th of February, decided to surprise me Saturday with the news that that is for the local area competition and the Pack will be holding their Derby races the week before to determine the boys to be sent to the races on February 4th. <sigh> No Coastal Assault for me. Oh, speaking of the son, my wife got irked with me for yelling loud enough to wake him up during the game... |
