It reads like a test copy, so if it is a hoax, it is a decent one. It is also in line with some of the 6th Ed rumors I've been reading for the last several months.
Found this following a link from 40k Forums. It's a couple of days old, but it looks like a legit leak or someone spent way too much time playing with 129 pages of rules and 36 pages of codex updates (missing Black Templar, Sisters of Battle and Necrons).

My sources told me a few days ago that the leak was the very, very old edition of the 6th Edition rules. And that the current rule set looks significantly different.
Well, I hope some of it isn't too different, a number of interesting things in there. For example, Necrons being written for 6th and using those rules, the universal I2 isn't such a bad thing with both the Alpha Strike counter charge rules plus rolling 5+ to disengage from CC when falling back (4+ if your I is greater than your opponent's I) without being swept. 1/28/2012 05:07:20 am
Here is another interesting link from the Beast of War dudes (usually pretty reliable rumors from their sources) that backs up what mine said:
Ahh, I skipped over that stuff. It is a new mechanic for me since the only "Apocalypse" games I've played in qualified by being larger multiplayer games of regular 40k rather than actual "Apocalypse". Leave a Reply. |
