Not planning on playing this one, but I was fiddling around and came up with this and am fishing for comments. Note that the HQ slot is empty, I'm planning for a WG Battle Commander, but haven't thought about how to equip him.
Troops:
5x Grey Hunters (1xmelta, 4xbolter) mounted in a HB Razorback
FA:
3x LS-Typhoon as individuals
Heavy Support:
3x Long Fangs (1xSgt, 5xmissile launcher) mounted in TLLC, LC-TLPG or TL-AssCan Razorback
Elite:
10x Wolf Guard (3xTDA/SB/PW, 2xTDA/SB/PW/Cyclone + 5x BP/CCW (one per GH squad))
1875 points (but need to buy a HQ, WGBC in TDA, but no Saga?)
3x TLLC, 15x ML, 3x Typhoon ML, 2x Cyclone ML, 8x Heavy Bolter
Can engage up to 13 distinct vehicles each turn.
Yes, a Space Wolf gunline. It seemed to me the best way to exploit the Chapter wide counterattack skill.
Fairly obvious, the Long Fangs set up and do their thing and their Razorbacks supplement them doing AT work (I'd go for the TLLC version). The Typhoons also provide the long range AT. The Grey Hunters move out into the middle with their Razorbacks being tasked for troop killing and the Wolfguard Terminators stomp around shooting and assaulting as required. The Wolf Guard with the Grey Hunters gives them a little more in CC if needed.
The places I could easily free up points would be by pulling one Long Fang from each squad as I needed to. Five just gives me a little redundancy and firepower edge since I can lose one and still fire a pair of missiles at two targets.
